TBS just showed a zoomed-in replay of Jeter's ankle and it looked like he rolled it a bit.
Swisher quickly strikes out.
Berry strikes out and there is now two out.
Young, by the way, was given a double on the Swisher misplay that started this big rally.
Albuquerque is in the pen for Detroit if Leyland pulls Smyley.
A grounder to Teixeira ends the inning and the Yankees have their work cut out.
Dirks hits it right up the box and off the hand of Phelps.
He tries to barehand it and cannot.
Kelly scores and the Yankees are in big trouble.
Nix is in for Jeter.
Peralta grounds one to Jeter that Jeter just has to eat.
Jeter cannot get up as he hurts his ankle again and is being carried off the field putting no weight at all on his leg.
Swisher just misplays a ball in the gap that was an absolute laser and Young is on second.
Cabrera scores and the Tigers go ahead.
Don Kelly will pinch-run for Young.
Swisher should have caught that and played it completely wrong off the bat.
Cabrera draws a walk off Phelps and Fielder is up.
He grounds to first and Cabrera goes to second.
Once again, the place is quiet.

Ichiro singles to right-center and the winning run is on to start the 11th.
What a steal the Yankees made to get this guy.

Drew Smyly is the new Tiger pitcher and he is making his 2012 postseason debut to Ichiro who homered his last time up.
Infante flies out to Gardner in center.
He stayed in the game after pinch-running and we go on to the bottom of the 11th.
Jackson strikes out and now Infante has the chance to extend the inning off Robertson.
This last 90 minutes has been absolutely epic.
Alex Avila, pinch-hitting for Gerald Laird, hits a single to right and the Tigers have a runner on.
If they can get the speedy Jackson on, then it will be the Yankees turn to get really nervous.
It is a good thing the Yankees have 12 pitchers on the roster as David Robertson is now on the hill.
Quintin Berry is pinch-hitting and grounds out to Jeter ranging by the bag at second.
Jeter flies out to right and we go on to the 11th.
Dotel struggles but hangs on.
They give Gardner third and the win is 90 feet away.
Martin is battling here.

Gardner steals second as Laird can never even get off a throw.
