Louisiana Tech just got their first stop on third down for the night. Looks like A&m will attempt a field goal.
Senior receiver Ryan Swope just walked off the field with assistance. He was knocked woozy while trying to catch a third down pass from Johnny Manziel. A personal foul was called on the play against Louisiana Tech. Earlier in the drive, Swope caught a pass for five yards making him only the second Aggie, along with Jeff Fuller, to record 200 career receptions.
Christine Michael with a 40 yard TD run for the Aggies to break the ice. Senior wide receiver Uzoma Nwachukwu went horizontal to make a 24 yard reception earlier in the drive. Kick is good and Ags lead 7-0.
Louisiana Tech won the toss and deferred. That is interesting. Considering how poor their defense is, it would make more sense for them to take the ball first and try to get some momentum on offense.
It looks like Dustin Harris is going to start at corner in place of Deshazor Everett. Everett injured his shoulder against Ole Miss.

About two hours and 45 minutes before kickoff, and the tailgaters are setting up around the stadium. Lots of Louisiana Tech red and blue in the fair grounds surrounding the stadium.
The gates just opened to the general public. Looks like it will be a good crowd today.
