COLUMBIA -- For NFL hopefuls like Missouri’s Sheldon Richardson, every new season features a handful of “spotlight” games, games where said players get the chance to measure themselves against an elite opponent, scouts watching every move. There’s no doubt that for Richardson, the Tigers’ 2:30 p.m. showdown on Saturday against Alabama is such a game. After spending the whole offseason getting into tip-top shape, the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Richardson, who is from St. Louis, has been borderline unstoppable this season. He has racked up 38 tackles — tied for second-most on the team, which is ridiculous for a tackle — with six 1/2 tackles for loss and three sacks.
