2012 ALDS: Yankees Move on to ALCS by Beating Orioles 3-1 in Game 5

We are down to one game.
The winner moves on to play the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS, while the loser has its season end early. It's Game 5 of the ALDS between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles.
The series is tied at two games apiece, with no room for error.
Pitching for the Yankees will be CC Sabathia, who won Game 1 at Camden Yards for the Bombers.
For the Orioles, right-hander Jason Hammel will be looking to stop the Yankee lineup.
The big news of the day is the reported benching of Alex Rodriguez, as Eric Chavez will play third base and Raul Ibanez will be the DH,

And now, it's a re-match with the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS, the same team that ended their season one year ago in the ALDS.
Game 1 will begin at 7:30 starting tomorrow night at Yankee Stadium.
My guess is Andy Pettitte may be starting that game for the Yankees.

CC Sabathia throws an absolute gem and a complete game with nine strikeouts and allowing only one run.
He was worth every single penny of his contract tonight.
Matt Wieters is now up with two outs trying to keep it alive for the O's.
Wieters hits it right back to CC, who throws to first and the ball game is over!

Pedro Strop will come in to pitch for the Orioles in the bottom of the eighth.
Derek Jeter leads off the inning for the Yankees.
Jeter hits a grounder to Reynolds, who throws it to Strop covering the base for the first out.

Hardy hits it to Jeter at short who throws him out for the final out.
Gut check for Sabathia, who only allows the one run and hangs on to the lead.
He'll likely be done now, and what a game he has pitched.
Nate McLouth now comes up with bases loaded and one out.
Sabathia needs to reach back and find something to get out of this jam.
McLouth strikes out for the second out on a nice curve ball.
Robert Andino now up with two out and one on. David Robertson is throwing in the bullpen.
Andino hits a tapper to Sabathia, who looks at third, nobody is there, goes to second, but the runner is safe.

Machado walks to set up first and second with nobody out.

Ibanez strikes out on a ball in the dirt for the third out.
The Yankees add to their lead and knock Hammel out of the game.

Hammel will intentionally walk Mark Teixiera, setting up first and second with two outs.
Buck Showalter will take out Jason Hammel and will put in lefty Troy Patton to face Raul Ibanez.
