It has been confirmed that cornerback William Gay will be the Steelers starter opposite Ike Taylor, according to Gerry Dulac in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Joey Galloway may join the Steelers as the third wide receiver. With him, the Steelers would get an experienced guy who can be capable of being a deep threat. He has amassed the 1,000 yard mark three times while playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for five years.
Galloway would also convey some veteran leadership to help out Hines Ward in crafting, developing, and honing Limas Sweed into a feared wide receiver in the NFL.
It has also been confirmed that the front office of the Steelers will dance around with having other unnamed free agents in the next couple days.
