Before the Rockies determine who their next manager is, they need to figure out who they are.

They have not only lost 187 games the past two seasons, they have lost their identity. The Rockies finished this year with baseball's worst ERA (5.22), worst defense (122 errors) and worst road offense (272 runs). Those statistics are symbolic of a team that has lost its way. On Sunday, they lost their field boss, manager Jim Tracy surprising the front office by walking away from $1.4 million rather than continue working when he didn't have say over his coaching staff, or have a loud voice in the team's roster construction...
