MVP! MVP! MVP!

Dwyane Wade had a beyond huge game tonight as the Miami Heat came out victorious in double overtime over the Chicago Bulls.

Wade made clutch play after clutch play tonight. First, he hit a three-point buzzer beater to put the game into overtime. Then in double overtime he stole the ball and hit a running three-point buzzer beater to win the game.

I am one of those people who doesn't think Kobe, or LeBron, but rather D-Wade should be the NBA MVP this season. Why you may ask? THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE!

In a 130-127 win over the Bulls tonight, Wade had 48 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks! This has to be one of the single greatest games by a player this season. Wade has had 40 points or over now in 4 out of his last 6 games. These are truly MVP-numbers.

Although Wade's game was more than stellar, he wasn't the only Heat player who contributed. The Heat had 6 players in double digits, led by two rookies with 18 (Michael Beasley) and 17 (Mario Chalmers). Udonis Haslem lead the team in rebounds with 8.

Ben Gordon had a huge game in a loss tonight with 43 points, 3 assists, 3 boards, a steal, and a block. He was really making it rain tonight as he hit 8 out of 11 three-point shots. John Salmons also had a great game with 29 points and 8 rebounds, and Derrick Rose played great with 23 points and 9 rebounds

If Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat continue to play like this they will be a serious contender in the playoffs.
