Nats Will Have to Best Lohse to Stay Alive

Faced with an elimination Game 4, the Washington Nationals will now have to go up against the Cardinals’ best pitcher in 2012 in order to stay alive. Right-hander Kyle Lohse led an otherwise inconsistent Cardinals’ staff in innings pitched and held a 2.86 ERA, the fifth best mark in the National League. Despite the reputations of Adam Wainwright and Chris Carpenter, he could be their toughest test yet.
