Champions League: Predicting the Teams to Advance to Semifinals

Will Tidey@willtideySenior Manager, GlobalOctober 10, 2012

It’s very early in the 2012-13 Champions League to be making bold predictions, but if you had to pick your four semifinalists, who would go for and why?

It’s worth bearing in mind that the knockout stages are drawn in the Champions League, so in theory two big teams could face each other before we even get there.

Among the teams mentioned here are Spanish heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid, holders Chelsea and last year’s beaten finalists, Bayern Munich.

There are also arguments made for Manchester United reaching the last four, despite their less-than convincing start, and a strong case made for Borussia Dortmund going all the way to the final.

Watch as Bleacher Report Lead Writers Will Tidey and Mike Cummings outline their arguments for who will reach the last four.

No doubt you’ll have an opinion, so please get involved in the comment thread below.
