Barack Obama: Starter or Reliever?

As I was working through my "honey-do's" on Sunday, I heard the White House Budget Director Peter Orzag say, "We are like the relief pitcher stepping into the ninth inning..."

Mr. Orzag pushed that analogy in describing President Obama's administration.

My initial reaction was "RELIEF PITCHER!"

I reasoned that the majority of the American electorate would, like me, prefer to have our Commander-in-Chief be a starting pitcher.

Personally, given the present state of our Union, I would want a Cy Young winner...even one who might have enhanced his performance along the way.

This morning, the thought occurred to me that I might be wrong.  So, I decided to poll the Bleacher Report faithful.
