There are many great WWE or World Heavyweight champions in the history of WWE. Here, I have mentioned five greatest of them all.
If anyone has any more wrestlers to be added in the list, use the comment box and I will consider that wrestler whether to put him in this list or not.
Now, the five greatest WWE/Heavyweight champions are:
5."Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels
At No. 5 is the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. He is a former three-time WWE champion, one-time World Heavyweight champion, Royal Rumble winner in 1995 and 1996, the first Grand Slam champion in WWE and also dubbed as "Mr. Wrestlemania."
Shawn Michaels is one of the best wrestlers in history and holds innumerable records in pro wrestling.
4. Bret "The Hitman" Hart
Bret Hart, known as "The Best There Is, The Best There Was And The Best There Ever Will Be" stands at No. 4 in the list.
He is a five-time WWE champion, Royal Rumble (co-)winner in 1994, King of the Ring in 1991 and 1993; and the second Triple Crown champion in WWE.
He was also a Hall of Fame inductee in 2006.
3. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan stands at No. 3 in the list. He is a six-time WWE champion, Royal Rumble winner in 1990 and 1991, and Hall of Fame inductee in 2005.
It is said that wrestling was created just for him.
2. "The Game" Triple H
"The King of Kings" Triple H stands at No. 2 in the list. He is the eight-time and current WWE champion, five-time World Heavyweight champion, King of the Ring in 1997, Royal Rumble winner in 2002, seventh Triple Crown champion, and second Grand Slam champion in WWE.
1." The Nature Boy" Ric Flair
"The Nature Boy' Ric Flair stands at No. 1 in the list of greatest champions. He is a record 16 times World Champion, Royal Rumble winner in 1992, and 13th Triple Crown champion in WWE.
He is also the first wrestler in WWE to be inducted into the Hall of Fame (2008) and to retire after a few hours later.
Honourable Mentions
Some wrestlers cannot be left out from this list. So, I have made this honorable mentions. They are Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Rock, Kurt Angle and Edge.
They have made their names to be written in golden letters by their achievements.
