Worst Decisions from Week 5 in the NFL

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterOctober 8, 2012

Every week, I think the well will start to run dry on the "Worst Decisions" front as teams and coaches learn from their mistakes, but each week teams and coaches keep proving me wrong, as they continue to make questionable decisions. Some, you might say, are the worst.

From the Green Bay Packers failing to adjust to the one Indianapolis Colts receiver who was killing them to Ron Rivera once again showing no faith whatsoever in his billion-dollar backfield, the league was once again littered with decisions that had fans throwing things at the television.

Also included in the video above is the Arizona Cardinals' inexplicable call to have Larry Fitzgerald run a slant short of the goal line on 4th-and-goal from the 6-yard line, as well as the Browns somehow forgetting that Trent Richardson is kind of a good tailback.

Let me know in the comments below which decisions I may have missed around the league and merit inclusion on the list, as well as which decisions you deem defensible. I look forward to your calm and considered opinions being expressed with civility and respect.

As always, thanks for watching!
