Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens: Preview and Predictions

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterOctober 8, 2012

When we last saw the Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo and the offense were getting a big-time beatdown on national television, courtesy of the Chicago Bears.

Cowboys fans can only hope the bye week has given Dallas the time it needed to get things sorted out between Romo and his receivers because things don't get any easier as the team heads to Baltimore to take on the Ravens this week.

For Baltimore, Joe Flacco and company need to get the stench of scoring only nine points against a woeful Kansas City Chiefs team off of them. An offense that features Ray Rice, Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith should be putting a bunch more points on the board.

In the video above, we look at some of the key matchups in this game and try to break down some of the positional battles. For myself, I look at how the Cowboys secondary struggled against the bigger, more physical receivers of the Chicago Bears. You have to think the Ravens will try to feature Boldin a bit more in an attempt to take advantage of what they saw on film there.

Let us know in the comments section what your prediction is for the game and which matchups you are looking forward to watching in this showdown of two marquee NFL teams.
