Does Drew Brees Want Ladainian Tomlinson on The New Orleans Saints?

During an interview with XX 1090 AM radio station out of San Diego, Saints' quarterback Drew Brees said, "I'd love to have LaDainian Tomlinson in New Orleans."

After all, L.T was Brees' teammate for five seasons in San Diego. The Chargers have offered Tomlinson a restructured contract for less than $24 million dollars. For Brees, adding a running back of Tomlinson's level to last season's top rated offense would be very interesting.

Brees admitted to talking to L.T about the situation in San Diego. Brees also thinks that Tomlinson should not accept the pay cut from the Chargers. In 2004, Brees and Tomlinson helped lead the Chargers to the AFC West Title, which was their first division title since 1994.
