With just a few weeks left until TNA Bound For Glory, the Thursday, October 4th edition of Impact! Wrestling began with a video package recapping last week's episode.
Hulk Hogan and Sting discussed the consequences if Aces and Eights win at Bound For Glory and gain full access to the Impact! Zone.
Mr. Anderson arrived first to the ring. As a microphone from above was lowered, Anderson grabbed it and told Hogan to watch his television monitor closely, as he wants a piece of Aces and Eights.
Mr. Anderson vs. Gunner in a singles match.
Your winner via pin fall: Mr. Anderson. Quickly after the match, Kid Kash entered the ring and attacked Mr. Anderson. However, that was short-lived after Mr. Anderson forced him out the ring. A quick, opening match that seemed to get the live audience warmed up.
Match Rating: 3/5
Tara and Gail Kim vs. ODB and Miss Tessmacher
Your winners via pin fall: Tara and Gail Kim. Tara is certainly on a roll heading into Bound For Glory, as her victories make her look stronger against Miss Tessmacher for the TNA Knockouts title match at the pay-per-view.
After a commercial break, TNA executive Al Snow headed towards the ring. Snow then quickly introduced Joey Ryan. Snow talked first and apologized on behalf of TNA for slapping Ryan weeks ago on Impact! Wrestling. Ryan demanded that Snow say he is personally sorry. After Snow said once again that he was sorry, Ryan fired back and began to rant that the attention should be on himself.
Snow pulled out a TNA contract and gave it to Ryan. Ryan said he needed a table and asked for Snow to turn around so he can sign on his back. After signing the contract, Snow told Ryan he should have read the details on the paper. Snow revealed that Ryan signed the contract to face Al at Bound For Glory.
Backstage, Kurt Angle and Bully Ray made their plea to Sting why they should be on Hogan's team to face Aces and Eights.

Douglas Williams vs. Zema Ion for the TNA X-Division title.
Your winner via submission to retain the X-Division title: Zema Ion. After the win, Ion kept his submission lock on Williams, forcing the referee to reverse the match result. A very quick X-Division title match that appeared to be a filler for King Mo's TNA debut.
Bruce Prichard and D-Lo Brown argued backstage about Matt Morgan's recent appearance at a TNA house show.
James Storm headed to the ring and began to discuss his match with Bobby Roode. Storm passionately said he is coming to Bound For Glory to prove he is a better man than Roode. As soon as Storm was about to introduce King Mo, Roode interrupted.
Roode said that he didn't care about King Mo, telling Storm their match at Bound For Glory will be a fight and that he plans to ends his career. King Mo arrived at the entrance and began to argue with Roode. Mo shoved Roode to the ground. Roode, in shock, retreated as Mo turned around, heading to the ring to celebrate with Storm.

Your winner via pin fall: Bully Ray. Thanks to disagreements in the ring by Hardy and Aries, Ray was able to come away with the win.
Hogan and Sting came out to the ring to announce their picks on who will compete against Aces and Eights. Hogan was amazed on how personal things have gotten with the heel fraction group and named Sting the first member of his team. Then Hogan invited Mr. Anderson to the ring.
However, video was shown backstage of Mr. Anderson being knocked out by Aces and Eights. Ray stormed out and yelled at Sting to convince Hogan that he should be the pick to fight Aces and Eights. After Sting became convinced, Ray shook Hogan's hand and officially joined the team as Impact! Wrestling closed.
