Finally, the Rock Has Come Back...to SNL!

KumarCorrespondent IMarch 7, 2009

Although this shouldn't count for a full article, I just had to comment on the Rock—OUR ROCKY—hosting SNL tonight.

This will be the Rock's second time hosting the show.

If you remember the first time well enough, he was the face of the old WWF, and as he said on many occasions, it was what launched him to stardom in Hollywood. His show also included appearances by Mick Foley, Triple H, and The Big Show.

This time, as the times have changed, Rock is now just Dwayne Johnson, and almost all traces of his old gimmick have gone away to the WWE 24/7 Library.

The musical guest will be Ray LaMontagne, best known for his album Trouble.

Now, I really don't know what to expect from Rocky, but I sure as hell hope we'll get a visit from Lillian, for good time's sake.
