Dorial Green-Beckham’s first touchdown at Missouri’s wasn’t even supposed to go to him. Green-Beckham, who scored on an 80-yard catch-and-run in the first half, said the play was supposed to go to receiver T.J. Moe, who was on the inside. “We usually go to him (Moe), but during the huddle James (Franklin) was like ‘Just stay skinny,’ ” Green-Beckham said. “We knew the safety was going to key on the inside receiver, and weren’t too worried about that second receiver. It was just me and that linebacker, and I had to beat him off the line, get past him and stay skinny. That’s what I did.” It was the only catch of the game for Green-Beckham, who dropped a ball over the middle on Missouri’s first drive.
