Cleveland Browns vs. New York Giants Preview and Predictions

Josh Zerkle@JoshZerkleChief Writer IIIOctober 1, 2012

Both the Browns and Giants are coming off of bitter losses where they could have, should have, but didn't win.

The Browns' loss to the Ravens dropped them to 0-4, but they are showing signs of life. Brandon Weeden seemingly continues to improve a little each week, but couldn't pull the trigger on the Ravens as he threw the ball out of the end zone as time expired.

Trent Richardson has been steady but not great, and could have tough sledding against the Giants defensive line. Richardson's big issue is the Browns are generally playing from behind, which means they are forced to abandon the running game.

The defending champions are 2-2, thanks to their frustrating loss in Philly. Ahmad Bradshaw is back but was shut down by the Eagles. The Giants have had injuries to their receiving corps and it's starting to show.

Will Brandon Weeden be able to exploit a shaky Giants secondary? Can New York bounce back and hand the Browns their fifth straight loss?
