DOVER, Del.—Thanks to a savvy fuel-mileage call late in the race, Jeff Gordon finished second to Brad Keselowski Sunday at Dover International Speedway. Gordon started seventh in the AAA 400, ran in the top 10 nearly all day and managed to lead a lap to gain a point bonus. But Gordon’s crew chief, Alan Gustafson, made the crucial call late in the race, the third in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
