Beltre Aggravates Strained Left Shoulder
Kevin Jairaj-US PRESSWIRE

Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre came out of the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader in the seventh inning after aggravating a strained left shoulder. The shoulder has troubled Beltre for several weeks. He first aggravated it in the opener and did it again in the second game on a lunging try for a liner by Mark Trumbo. The ball knocked Beltre’s glove off his hand. Manager Ron Washington — after some convincing — removed Beltre from the game.
