College Football Coaches on the Hot Seat
Week 5 is in the books, and it has surely brought some tenuous moments for several college football coaches who are fighting to keep their jobs.
After blowing a big lead to Miami last week, Georgia Tech got run out of its own building by Middle Tennessee State. That can't be good for Yellow Jackets head coach Paul Johnson.
Meanwhile, Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley's Volunteers fought hard between the hedges in Athens against the Georgia Bulldogs, but lost in a shootout, 51-44. It was a valiant effort, but moral victories don't exist for Dooley anymore.
What coaches are on the hot seat? SEC lead writer Barrett Sallee examines this question in this edition of "The Program."
