He stands at barely six feet tall and weighs in at 175 pounds (to put in that in perspective, I am bigger than Chris Paul), yet Paul is without a doubt one of the most feared basketball players on the planet today.
This season alone, the man has posted an absurd 37 double-doubles and five triple doubles all in 56 games played. Last night against the Mavericks, Paul posted another mind boggling performance of 27 points and 15 assists.
Here's the kicker though. Only TWO, count 'em, two turnovers. That's an incredible assist to turnover ratio. For the season, Paul is averaging 11.1 assists per game with 2.98 turnovers per game.
Right now, if you are an NBA basketball fan, we are in an era of incredible talent. Dwight Howard, Lebron James, and Kobe Bryant all come to mind, but do not forget about Chris Paul. He may be the most exciting young player in the NBA.
Why? The answer is simple. Lebron stands at a menacing 6'8" and 250+ pounds, D12 is 7' tall and weighs in at 265 pounds. These guys are incredible from not only a basketball stand point, but also a physical stand point. Meanwhile, Chris Paul is no bigger than the average dude on the street, and yet he is a giant killer. Plus, he has a killer first step.
