There's the final whistle. It's a great result for Real, and an even better performance.

After going behind to a stunning early goal, Real fought back with five unanswered goals. Cristiano Ronaldo hit a hat-trick, and Angel Di Maria was in excellent form.

Considering the rough start to the season Real have endured, today's result is exactly what Jose Mourinho and company needed.

Aranzubia guessed right, but Ronaldo's shot was perfect. It bounced off the upright and into the net.
