LSU 38, Towson 22, Final.
After a lackluster win over Auburn last week, LSU seemed to have ample opportunity to straighten things out against Towson from the FCS.
That's not quite how it worked out against Towson.
Sloppy play, penalties and turnovers continue to haunt the Tigers, but LSU escaped with a very ugly 38-22 win over Towson.
For Towson, this is just the sixth game against an FBS opponent in the program's 44-year history. It's also the first time the Tigers from the FCS have faced a ranked FBS opponent and the first time Towson has played in a stadium that holds more than 54,000 fans.
LSU is a perfect 5-0 for the fourth consecutive season.
