MONTREAL — The National Hockey League and the players’ association will return to the bargaining table Friday in New York, marking the first negotiations since the lockout began on Sept. 15. Meanwhile, more than 60 NHL players have already headed overseas to play in European leagues, including six Canadiens. Max Pacioretty (Ambri-Piotta), Raphael Diaz (EV Zug) and Yannick Weber (Geneva-Servette) have joined the Swiss A League, while Tomas Plekanec and Tomas Kaberle are with HC Kladno in the Czech Republic, and Alexei Emelin signed with Russia’s Ak-Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League.
