Stanford vs. Washington: Live Scores, Analysis and Results

Zach DirlamSenior Analyst IISeptember 27, 2012

Final Score, Washington 17 Stanford 13

The No. 8 Stanford Cardinal did not score an offensive touchdown against the Washington Huskies in the "Blackout of the Century," as Steve Sarkisian's squad pulled off the 17-13 upset at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Wash.

Although Stanford led for virtually the entire game, the Huskies used a 61-yard touchdown run by Bishop Sankey and Kasen Williams' 35-yard touchdown reception to take their first lead of the game late in the fourth quarter.

The Cardinal were considered to be one of the favorites to win the Pac-12 Conference title after upsetting the USC Trojans in Week 3, but their BCS National Championship dreams came to an end at the hands of the undersized and underrated Huskies.
