NFL's 5 Most Disappointing Quarterbacks of 2012

Josh Zerkle@JoshZerkleChief Writer IIISeptember 27, 2012

Have you been disappointed with your favorite NFL team's quarterback so far? I know five teams' fan bases that should be.

Aaron Rogers would be a good place to start; the reigning Super Bowl MVP has his team only 1-2 out of the gate. And regardless of the Week 3 Monday night result, Rodgers took an astonishing eight sacks in the first half of that game against Seattle. Throw it away, Aaron!

Another disappointing player so far has been Brandon Weeden. The Browns quarterback, one of two first-round picks by the Cleveland Browns this season, was supposed to revitalize the Browns' offense this season. That...is still a work in progress.

Other quarterbacks have been disappointing as well. How much of the Saints' early woes do we pin on Drew Brees? What about the inconsistent play of Tampa Bay's Josh Freeman? Have we seen the kind of game out of Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick that makes us think he's still worth that new contract?

My five most disappointing quarterbacks are listed here for your viewing pleasure in my latest video. Check out my takes on those under the bar under center and leave your own thoughts in the comments.

As always, thanks for watching.
