The spring race at Atlanta has long been known for being ruined by cold weather, rain, and the Storm of the Century in 1993. This
weekend is going to more than make up for the fact it was about 30 degrees on Saturday last year and rained all day on Friday. Apparently, the Atlanta metro area received some snow as part of the storm that crippled much of the mid-Atlantic Sunday and into Monday, so I guess the law of averages is playing out. I've learned the law of averages always seems to be a decent model in predicting March weather patterns. It may be 20 degrees below average for a whole week, but you can pretty much expect a warm spell to offset that in the soon after.
