Touring Kauffman Stadium, Home of the Kansas City Royals: Know Your Ballpark

Our final stop on our "Know Your Ballpark" tour was Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals

Before hitting the ballpark we hit the Power & Light District to check out a few bars.

Johnny's Tavern

Johnny's Tavern is a sports bar with a mix of old-school features and new-school features. It's been "serving up tradition" since 1953 and is a solid place to grab a drink and put a coin in the jukebox.

McFadden's Sports Saloon

McFadden's mixes it up a bit by combining a sports bar with the feel of an Irish pub. The place features DJs on the weekend, a VIP area and a variety of random objects like bobbleheads. If you have an eagle eye, you might find what they call "party kitty."

A little down the street is Willy's. We swung in to say "hey" to Dustin as he showed us the place and let us know how Kansas City fans find Willy's a solid spot for some food and drinks before an event at the Sprint Center or a game at Kauffman Stadium.

Kauffman Stadium

Kansas City was majestic. From the huge digital scoreboard to the amazing water installations, Morrie was our guide and showed us everything. One of the most fascinating places at the ballpark had to be the expansive Hall of Fame, which has to be seen to be believed.
