Exploring Tropicana Field, Home of the Tampa Bay Rays: Know Your Ballpark

Tampa Bay, or more specifically St. Petersburg, Fla., home of the Rays, was our next stop for our "Know Your Ballpark" team. Before the game, we checked out a few spots.

Ferg's Sports Bar

Ferg's is located right across the street from The Trop. You can actually take a tunnel from the back of Ferg's all the way to the ballpark. Ferg's takes up almost two city blocks and features air conditioning and misters for those hot humid days, multiple bars and tons of TVs so you don't miss a moment of a game.

Taps & Tequila

Right across the street from Ferg's is Taps & Tequila. We swung by the outside terrace to grab a glass of Don and chat with the staff. Featuring tons of libations and HDTVs, Taps & Tequila is a sold choice for some.

Tropicana Field

Inside, we explored the park and took in everything it had to offer. One of the most unique features of any ballpark includes the dome roof and the cownose rays that I was able to touch and feed.

Mandarin Hyde

If you are looking for a late-night spot with a variety of Don Julio cocktail infusions, look no further than Mandarin Hyde. Featuring an upscale decor, the Mandrain Hyde still has a great, friendly staff and vibe. They have some cool art installations inside and out of the spot, and it's located right on Central Ave.
