During the walk back the the dressing room at half time at St. James' Park, a row started between Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo and Newcastle defender Steven Taylor.

It was during the 2-1 United win on Wednesday night, when they had their handbags out on each other. The fight apparently started after a few tough challenges from Taylor on Ronaldo and Carrick.

Ronaldo was annoyed with the tackles, whereas Taylor was outraged with Ronaldo's reaction and clutched his face while falling on the floor, despite Taylor's hand not going anywhere near it.

The pair began arguing after the halftime whistle. The players had to be separated from each other by Rio Ferdinand and the referee, Steve Bennett. Taylor denied that the fight went into the tunnel, and the Football Association has said it will not investigate any further.

According to The Times, the bust-up went as follows:

Ronaldo: You're a rubbish footballer.

Taylor: At least I'm not ugly.

Ronaldo: But you're a rubbish footballer.

Taylor: I know, but you're still ugly.

It wasn't the biggest argument, or the best, but it may be one of the funniest.
