LOUDON, N.H. — Jimmie Johnson had a second-place car Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, so he did the best he could — he finished second behind race winner Denny Hamlin in the Sylvania 300.
But there was an added bonus as he took over the lead in the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings by one point over Brad Keselowski with his second straight runnerup finish.
