NFL's 5 Worst Defenses Heading into Week 4

Josh Zerkle@JoshZerkleChief Writer IIISeptember 24, 2012

Which NFL defenses are the worst? I thought you'd never ask.

The Washington Redskins defense is unveiling a stimulus package of its own, letting the opposing team score whenever it wants. The Redskins are abysmal against the pass statistically, allowing over 337 yards per game. That's actually good news for Josh Freeman, as the Redskins head to Tampa Bay this weekend.

Another bad defense belongs to the post-BountyGate New Orleans Saints. Do you think they're missing Sean Payton right about now? The Saints are giving up 34 points a game, and that's the biggest reason why they're 0-3 right now. If only there were some incentive program the Saints could use right about now.

We have a full top five for you (including my No. 1 worst defense in the entire NFL) in the video above. Check it out, and be sure to leave your worst defense in the comments below.

As always, thanks for watching.
