Two average teams traded blows for 60 minutes, keeping each other in it by failing to make big plays.
New York had 388 total yards, but they also had two turnovers and went 6-of-17 on third-down conversions. Miami was over 50 percent on third down, but they committed 11 penalties. Tannehill's 16-of-36 day didn't help matters either.
Sanchez finished the day 21-of-45 for 306 yards and one touchdown; however, his two interceptions were killer. Tim Tebow still only saw the ball twice, but the Jets' starting QB is doing nothing to help his cause.
Darrelle Revis and Reggie Bush both left the game with injuries, but the game didn't stop for them. Overtime came, Dan Carpenter missed his opportunity to win the game (3:19 mark in your video) for Miami and the Jets won their second game of the year.
The Jets still have a lot of issues, but winning this game was important for their confidence moving forward.
