After a horrendous performance in the desert, the heat is on in Philadelphia when it comes to the starting quarterback.
Michael Vick continued his turnover-prone ways against the Arizona Cardinals. While it was undoubtedly an ugly display on Vick's part, the over-reaction when it comes to his job security is a bit premature.
Yes, Vick's fumble that was run back for a touchdown at the end of the first half was brutal and effectively took the Eagles out of the game. But the game plan that the Eagles tried to implement in the first half played right into the Cardinals strength as a defense. Why Philadelphia felt they could ignore the ground game against an elite Cardinals secondary is beyond me.
Of course, in the video above, my buddy Josh Zerkle takes the opposite stance, saying it's time for the Eagles to start Nick Foles due to Vick's propensity to give the ball to the other team.
I say the Eagles are 2-1 and there is a lot of time for the Eagles to get it right with Vick.
