Last night at UFC 152, Cub Swanson once again showed why he is a threat in the featherweight division.

Swanson earned "Knockout of the Night" for his performance against Charles Oliveira.

The win was Swanson's third straight, all of which have come by TKO.

The win should also put Swanson in serious title contention.

Here are some fights he should take to get one step closer to a title fight.

Chad Mendes

Chad Mendes is no stranger to Swanson.

The two met back at WEC 150 in 2010 with Mendes winning by unanimous decision.

Now that both are in the UFC, they would love to get back in position to face featherweight champ, Jose Aldo

A win for either man could be the easy ticket back to a title fight.

Ricardo Lamas

Like Chad Mendes, Ricardo Lamas has met and defeated Swanson.

Both men are now riding three-fight winning streaks and could very well face each other sometime in the future.

Both men want fights that could put them in title contention, and an exciting fight with each other could do just that.

Both men know how to finish and would love to have another knockout on their resume.

Chan-Sung Jung

Since coming to the UFC, "The Korean Zombie" Chan-Sung Jung has put together an impressive three-fight winning streak.

Jung is known for his impressive submissions and iron chin as well as always moving forward.

A fight between Jung and Swanson would not only be a possible "Fight of the Night" battle, it could bring both men closer to a title shot.

Erik Koch

Erik Koch was set to face Jose Aldo twice before injuries forced both men out of the bouts.

With Frankie Edgar in the featherweight division now, Koch may be waiting in line for his title shot.

Koch is dangerous in the striking and submission game and would put on a good show with Swanson.

For either man, a win would put him in good position in the rankings.

Frankie Edgar

Although Edgar was next in line for a title shot, thanks to Aldo being out with an injury, he could take another fight.

Swanson didn't take any damage in his fight and could be willing to face Edgar.

A fight with Edgar would not only be an exciting one, it would be a test for both men.

Can Swanson catch Edgar, and if he can, will he stay down? And if Edgar gets caught, will he be able to fight back?
