After much confusion and conflicting stories, the match between Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid has officially been postponed after power to the stadium was cut by fans.
The match was originally scheduled for a 3:30 EST start time, but roughly 45 minutes before kickoff stories began breaking that lightening around Vallecas had caused power to go out, causing the match to be delayed.
However, it was later learned that fans had allegedly cut power to the the stadium and forced the game to be postponed.
Officials negotiated a postponement that will now see the match played tomorrow evening at 9:00 pm UK time, according to Canal+.
It's not official yet, but the match has—at best—been delayed a few hours.

It appears the match will not be played today, folks. Rayo fans have cut power to the stadium allegedly boycotting the price of tickets.
This would obviously be a huge development as the current economic problems in Spain and La Liga continue to boil onto the pitch.

We've gotten word that the match will be delayed due to 'floodlight issues'. It seems heavy rains have led to lighting problems with fans not being allowed in just yet.
Not sure how long the delay will last, but stay tuned.
