As we all know, the release of EA Sports' FIFA 13 is imminent. The biggest soccer video game franchise hits shelves on September 25.

This will undoubtedly be the biggest and best version of FIFA yet. Today I'm going to be taking a look at the five teams that will be the most fun to play with in the new edition of FIFA.

5. Chelsea

We start our list off with none other than the reigning UCL champions, Chelsea. Although you will no longer be able to play with Didier Drogba, Chelsea have regained his goals in the form of signings such as Lukaku and Eden Hazard.

As we've seen, Chelsea can both park the bus and attack effectively, and there's no team I'd rather have in the case of a penalty shootout. Either way, with the quality of this team, there will never be a dull moment playing as the champions of Europe.

4. Manchester United

With Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie creating the best strike partnership in all of FIFA, it will be fun to see all the goals that can be scored between them. The squad is, as always, extremely deep and there will be many top quality players to choose from.

The Red Devils are the most successful club in the history of England, and with the team they have on display, you will be able to continue their success in FIFA 13. With speed down the flanks and solid players in the middle, you'll have a hard time losing if you choose Man U.

3. Manchester City

The Citizens clock in at No. 3 on our list. Fresh off a historic EPL title, the blue half of Manchester and their many riches will be very fun to play with in FIFA 13.

On career mode, the sheer amount of money you will have to spend on players is reason enough to choose City. In terms of actual gameplay, City has a top-class attack with some of the greatest players from across the globe. The squad is huge and versatile, and able to play in a number of formations and styles.

If you want to play with what feels like a Best XI squad, City is the team for you.

2. Real Madrid

If, above all else, you like to score goals, Real Madrid should be your team of choice in FIFA 13. With a better attack than any other squad in the game, there's an endless number of ways to put the ball in the back of the net.

Whether it's Karim Benzema with a blast, CR7 with a sweet free kick or Mesut Ozil with that perfect through ball, you will have an abundance of players with which to impose your will on your opponent. And if all else fails, you've got the world's best goalkeeper in net.

Not a bad choice at all.

1. Barcelona

What team could be more fun to play with on FIFA 13 than the Catalans themselves? Known for their ability to pass teams to sleep, Barcelona will be the most entertaining team on show in FIFA 13.

With so many big names, from Lionel Messi to Dani Alves, there's a multitude of attacking options to choose from, and the passing ability of the squad allows those of us who really enjoy strategy to plot the perfect plan of attack and dominate possession like Barcelona are known for doing.

If you're looking for a good time playing FIFA 13, look no further than Barca.
