Purdue's Poor Performance, No Surprise!
Matt Painter looks on as his Purdue Boilers stumble against Northwestern at Mackey Arena, as I mentioned in the "waterbug" article, "the Boilers after a disappointing road loss should play a little more bench these last two games and keep his sick and injured team fresh for the Big Ten Championship Tournament this year."
The concentration and focus has been blurry as this regular season schedule comes to an end. Purdue had lost the intensity on defense these last two games.
Is the bench of Purdue going to be more suited now and show the desired urgency for a final-season victory against ranked Michigan State University? Purdue needs the momentum for the Big Ten Tournament.
