Manny Ramirez Finally Signs with the Los Angeles Dodgers

Tony ArnoldineCorrespondent IMarch 4, 2009

With seemingly no other team willing to pay him more than $45 million over two years, Manny Ramirez finally agreed to terms on a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.

Ramirez invigorated the Los Angeles lineup last season, and led them to the playoffs. Say what you want about "Man-Ram," but even when he gives a half-effort, he is still one of the best in the game.

Manny is trying to put a positive spin on the waiting game he and Scott Boras played, as evidenced by this column from TJ Simers of the LA Times.
