Tiger Woods has the FedEx Cup in his sights.
The final step is the Tour Championship at Atlanta's historic East Lake.

You really could not have drawn this round any better for Tiger.
Rory's pitch will be uphill and catch the front to release to the hole.
Exactly how Rory plays the hole and he has a tapper for a one-under 69.
Tiger's putt will break right-to-left and it is downhill towards the water.
He does not put enough break into it, but a par none the less.
A four-under 66 today shares the lead with Justin Rose and they will be paired together tomorrow.
Tiger hit fairways and greens and his short game was exceptional. He is in a good spot going forward and really confident with his game.
The 221-yard closing par-three 18th hole is next.
An elevated tee plays over water to a green with the pin cut front-center.
Tiger has a five-iron.
He goes at the flag and lands it right of the flag hole high.
Rory is next.
McIlroy also plays the five-iron.
Rory, however, hits it short onto a chipping area.
Rory has 30 feet on the number and gave his birdie lag putt a lot of respect, gently rolling it about a foot short for par.
Tiger has 17 feet for the lead.
He gave it a good go, but a bit too much pace as it lips out.
Pars for both on 17.

Tiger has 149 left to the flag while Rory has 147 left.
All day today, they have mirrored an incredible amount of tee shots.
Tiger has hit 10 fairways today, a good number.
He hits his approach below and left of the hole and is in good shape.
Rory's turn now.
He lands it short and right of the flag and has a slippery downhill putt for birdie coming up from around 30 feet.
The 17th hole is a treacherous 470-yard par-four.
Water and trees are trouble all the way on the left.
Tiger cuts his driver right into the center of the green.
Rory's drive is safe on the left side of the fairway.
Rory's 11 foot effort rolls a couple feet past. He gets the par though.
Tiger has eight feet for birdie and he is now tied for the lead at four-under.

Tiger goes right at the American flag pin on the 16th and leaves it a couple feet below the pin.
Rory does not quite fire at the flag, but leaves it pin-high and about seven feet left of the center-right pin.
Tiger takes the driver on the long 481-yard par-four 16th hole and finds the right side of narrow fairway.
Rory also has the big stick out. He flirts with the first cut on the left side but drills it 333 yards.
Tiger has 150 left while Rory has 146.
Tiger has 36 yards to the hole.
This will be a bump and run.
He bumped it and it ran to a couple feet short of the hole.
A birdie looks really good.
His short game has been great today.
Rory's shot from the bunker is picked clean and it spins just past the hole and a four looks certain for him as well.
Tiger has about three feet to clean up.
He does and gets it back to three-under.
Rory has a couple feet left.
It gets in the left edge.
Birdies for both.

Apparently, Tiger nearly whiffed his tee shot and hit a pop-up.
Rory is in the intermediate rough.
Uphill, Rory also pops it up, but misses the green by a yard and it rolls into the bunker on the right side of the green.
Plenty of green to work with on the upcoming pitches.
Tiger has found the fairway, but was very short off the tee.
We have not seen the shot, but it must have hit something as it only went 238 yards.
Rory drove his ball further down the right side 293 yards off the tee.
Rory can get home from 230, but Tiger has 299 left.
Tiger is laying up and almost landed it on the front of the green.
The long par-five coming home is next.
At 525 yards, it is reachable, but you must find the narrow fairway off the tee.
There is a slight left-to-right curl of the fairway and the pin is cut on the center-left edge.
Tiger is up next and he has 61 yards to get home.
He hit a good shot, but still has around eight feet for par.
Rory was forced to chip with a three-wood from behind the green and leaves it about 15 feet above the hole for his par.
Rory hits a very good par attempt, but it trickles past the hole.
A bogey five for Rory.
Tiger's putt has a little ridge to navigate and just misses on the left.
A bogey for Tiger as well.

Tiger will try and cut his second around a grove of trees.
He was in the rough.
It hit a tree and is in good shape short of the green on the fairway.
Rory had a clean look at the flag from the right side, but cannot put any spin on it and he ball settles on the back-right side of the green in a thick collar of rough.
Rory hammers his drive, but it misses the fairway on the left.
Not sure of the lie, but he has only 118 yards to the flag.
Tiger has 155, but has no shot at the flag.
The 442-yard par-four 14th hole is next.
The fairway is just dead straight off the tee, but only 32% of the field has found the fairway.
The pin today is on the extreme back-left.
Tiger has lost his drive well right into the trees and pine straw.
Rory's exact distance is 34 feet and 11 inches.
He will give it a go before Tiger attempts his 13-footer for birdie.
Rory just reads it absolutely correct and makes it dead center.
Par is always good and Rory steals one here.
From 13 feet, Tiger does not read the correct sharp right-to-left break and it misses.
He makes his three-footer coming back and pars all around.

Rory now has 41 yards to the flag and his ball is partially sitting up in the grass.
He absolutely airmails his shot and it sails well past the hole on the left side for a par.
He has 40 feet at least for par.
Rory and Tiger are about three yards apart.
The difference is that Rory is in the rough while Tiger is in the fairway.
Rory just has an awful lie from 148.
He's aiming at the center of the green, but could only advance it into the rough on the right side of the fairway.
Tiger has 149.
He can go for that flag and leaves it a couple feet above the flag for a chance to tie the lead.
The 476-yard par-four 13th hole is next and Tiger has the driver out.
He hits it on the left side safely on the slight dogleg.
Rory has the big stick out.
Rory tried to find that left edge of the fairway, but it settles in the rough by a fairway bunker and it sunk in.
Tiger's chip is absolutely perfect.
He was on an uphill ridge with a downhill slope after it reached the green.
It did not matter as he sinks the chip.
Birdie three for Tiger.
Rory had 22 feet below the hole for birdie and he sinks it.
Two birdies here.

The pin is cut on the back-right of the green.
Rory has 170 from that rough and will have to contend with a good sized bunker that fronts the green if he leaves it short.
The green is elevated from the fairway and Rory lands it safely on the center of the green.
Tiger has a pitching wedge from 157, but it takes an unlucky bounce on the green and it bounds off the back side into a collar of intermediate rough that looks a bit sparse and brown.
Tiger takes an iron off the tee at the 391-yard par-four 12th hole.
He is safely on the right side of the fairway.
Rory also goes with an iron, but has pulled his shot into the right rough short of the fairway bunkers that guard that side of the hole.
Rory's ball was sitting up.
Tiger guessed the speed right on his birdie bid, but left it a cup left.
A good par.
Rory just misses his birdie putt on the right.
Both players make a par three.
