January Transfer Rumours: Biggest Players Destined for a Move

The summer transfer window shut just a couple of weeks ago, but already we’re talking about big-name players who might make big-money moves when it opens again in January.

The first name mentioned here is Arsenal’s Theo Walcott, who appears to be having contract issues. According to The Guardian Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has put an April deadline on these being resolved, but there’s plenty of speculation that suggests the winger might be gone before then.

Up next is Radamel Falcao, the hottest striker in Europe and a name you can expect to see in the gossip columns every day until he gets a big move away from Atletico Madrid. The Daily Mail says that move will be to Chelsea, and it will happen in January.

Finally to Spurs, and Andre Villas-Boas’ romantic quest to be reunited with Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho. AVB came very close in the summer window, so many will be expecting Spurs to complete the formalities and make it happen in the winter window.

In this clip, Bleacher Report’s World Football Lead Writers Will Tidey and Mike Cummings make the case for these three players making big moves.
