On Saturday night, we'll get a long dreamt about fight between "All-American" Brian Stann and Michael "The Count" Bisping.
From the moment Stann announced himself to the middleweight division, many fans—myself included—have anticipated a matchup between these two strikers.
Michael Bisping has not talked a whole lot about Stann in the leadup to this fight—relatively speaking. There have been a few comments here and there, but Bisping has been quite respectful.
But, could Brian Stann silence Michael Bisping once and for all?
Stann has got a tremendous amount of power in his fists, and could do to Bisping exactly what Dan Henderson did—the better question though is will he be able to?
Bisping has fought several top fighters in the past, but he always seems to come up short. His best win is arguably either Matt Hamill or Chris Leben.
He has suffered losses to Chael Sonnen, Dan Henderson, Rashad Evans and Wanderlei Silva. The fight against Brian Stann will be his most recent chance to beat a top ten opponent.
Not only is Stann a top ten opponent, but he is in the lower end of the top ten, and some feel he may not even belong there at all.
All the stars are lined up for Bisping to earn the biggest win of his career; and potentially earn a title shot.
However, all it takes is one punch from Stann to send Bisping packing and looking to rebuild himself for another attempt at a title run.
No matter who wins this fight, it's going to be an entertaining one.
