COLUMBIA -- Due to his game-saving performance in Missouri's 24-20 win over Arizona State on Saturday, senior safety Kenronte Walker has been chosen as the Southeastern Conference's defensive player of the week. The conference - which announced its weekly awards Monday morning - recognized the contributions of Walker, who deflected a Sun Devil pass on fourth-and-goal from the 3-yard line to stop a potential ASU scoring drive with 3:36 left in the fourth quarter and also intercepted a third-and-9 pass with less than two minutes left to clinch the victory. He also finished the game two tackles.
