Gonzaga is always a favorite to upset some major teams, but this year, the Bulldogs will not make it past the first round.
The Davidson Wildcats are a 10th seed, but they have been down that road before. Riding a 22-game winning streak coming into the big dance, the Wildcats have played UCLA, North Carolina, and Duke. They played those teams and lost by 12, six, and four points respectively.
Besides that, they lost at North Carolina State by one point, at Charlotte by seven points, and at Western Michigan by seven points.
Guard Stephen Curry, who averages over 25 points a game, leads the team.
Jason Richards leads the nation in assists and average over 12 points a game.
Watch the Davidson backcourt surprise a few teams.
Up front the Wildcats have Meno, Sandler, and Lovedale who average about 20 points a game combined.
The lack of height down low could hurt Davidson. All of their starting forwards are 6'8. With a bench full of guards, this team is ready to go far.
The Wildcats have played against the big time opponents and are ready to boogie for a while at the Big Dance.

I guess you were right. They would have gone to the Final Four, but they blew it.
