COLUMBIA -- With a chance to set the record straight about his health, Missouri quarterback James Franklin on Monday reaffirmed his decision to sit out the Tigers’ 24-20 win over Arizona State on Saturday. Yes, Franklin said, he was offered and declined a pain-killing injection earlier in the week for an inflamed bursa sac in his right shoulder. And yes, he said, it was his decision at gametime not to play with the injury, though he worried about letting down his teammates and coaches.
