The answer to whether Ryan Lochte breaking down the fall TV schedule would be hilarious is a resounding "yes."
Seth MacFarlane got things off to a solidly funny start on Saturday Night Live, and stopped by the Weekend Update desk to play the role of super-Olympic bro Ryan Lochte.
The video (h/t SportsGrid) is exactly what you would expect: Lochte's deficiencies as a world-class interviewer being exploited.
He is pretty amped about Goon, starring Matthew Perry, and thinks it may be really Go Od.
If there is a favorite line in all this, it has to be, "Oh, man it feels so weird to be dry." At some point in his life, Lochte has no doubt said these words.
Consider these the last vestiges of Ryan Lochte being front and center on the national consciousness. Soon, we will have forgotten his beautiful TV spots and interviews that had us all captivated.
The swimmer had us on the edge of our seats with every hilarious syllable he spilled out into the world, and we will miss him.
It's a good thing we get him back in less than four years from now. Rio will be so much more hilarious with Lochte getting in and out of a pool and attempting to answer the most trivial of questions.
We can't wait for the maestro to get back to work. Until then, he has us excited for fall programming.
