NFL: Worst Decisions We Saw in Week 2

It wouldn't be an NFL weekend without some bonehead decisions being made throughout the league.

I asked my Twitter followers late on Sunday evening which were the worst of the bunch when it came to coaches throwing reason to the wind. Without a doubt Mike Shanahan's attempt to "ice the kicker" prior to halftime was the runaway winner for worst decision of Week 2.

I understand the thinking behind icing the kicker; I just don't think it's anywhere near as effective as coaches seem to think it is—and this time, it actually gave the St. Louis Rams the three points by which the Redskins would end up losing. Funny, that.

There were other questionable decisions, of course, from Bill Belichick calling for the Patriots to take a knee with plenty of time remaining in the fourth quarter to Greg Schiano's inexplicable decision to start his four-minute drill with nearly a half of football remaining.

Let us know in the comments section which ones I've missed or if you want to defend any of those that I've listed in the video above.
