With Night of Champions 2012 out of the way, the aftermath of one of the wilder pay-per-views of the year is sure to carry over to WWE’s Monday Night Raw.
The news of Jerry Lawler’s improving health will allow the WWE Universe to enjoy the show again after the somber ending last week, but the momentum from the PPV Sunday will make this Monday’s Raw one of the best.
The convoluted ending to the main event and the knowledge that the WWE loves to make the Raw following a PPV almost as great as the actual paid event the night before leads many fans to believe tonight’s episode of Raw will be very memorable.

2012 Night of Champions Results
WWE Champion CM Punk vs. John Cena ended in a draw.
World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio.
Eve defeated Divas Champion Layla.
Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler.
United States Champion Antonio Cesaro defeated Zack Ryder.
Kane and Daniel Bryan defeated WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston.
Zack Ryder won a Pre-Show Battle Royal to become No. 1 Contender for the United States Championship Intercontinental Champion.
The Miz defeated Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara and Cody Rhodes.
CM Punk’s Next Move
After the convoluted ending to the main event, CM Punk and John Cena’s feud is far from over, and that’s good news for the WWE Universe because it’s just starting to get good again.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is CM Punk really going to retain until Royal Rumble?
With the WWE allowing their superstar to retain his title in John Cena’s hometown, the belief that Punk could keep his WWE Title until the Royal Rumble where he would defend against The Rock is coming to fruition.
Hype Meter: 5-of-5 show-stealing matches
Every time Cena and Punk step in the ring together they put on show-stealing matches; it’s that simple. These two men have fed off each other in the ring in every one of their PPV matches and have evolved as each has passed.
Say what you want about the ending, but the match itself was one of the best in 2012 so far.

Kane and Daniel Bryan’s Tag Team Revival
After forming one of the most unlikely duos the tag team division has ever seen, Kane and Daniel Bryan won the titles at Night of Champions. Now their backstage segments involve titles. Amazing.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is the tag team division saved?
While it takes more than one team to revive a division, Kane and Daniel Bryan are a huge hit in their backstage segments, and their work together has been amazing in the ring. If the WWE can find the duo legitimate competition, the division has found its saviors.
Hype Meter: 4-of-5 Gatorade bathes
As great as these segments have been so far, the WWE must keep this idea consistently fresh so that fans don’t grow tired of these two. With superior in-ring skills and possibly a new two-person finisher, Kane and Bryan have the ability to keep the WWE Universe entertained.

The End to the Never-Ending Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio Feud
After Booker T hit the ramp before the world heavyweight championship match between Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus to reinstate the brogue kick, it was abundantly clear that the WWE had no intention of allowing Del Rio to win.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is this feud finally over?
After months of meaningless matches and storyline twists that entertained no one, the hope is that Sheamus will move on to anyone besides Del Rio. While a feud with Wade Barrett would be amazing, I’d rather see a short program with Tensai than another Del Rio/Sheamus match.
Hype Meter:2-of-5 unused new submission moves
As much as this has built perfectly for a Del Rio win, the fact that he lost again proves the WWE doesn’t care about him, and he will never be a top star. While there is a chance that he could find something that the fans could care about, the damage from this feud will kill Del Rio’s career.
