College football Week 3 is in the books, and with it came several surprises in the Week 4 Associated Press poll.

USC dropped from No. 2 to No. 13 after losing at Stanford, which rose all the way to the No. 9 spot in the latest rankings.

Notre Dame justified its spot in the rankings with a resounding 20-3 win over Michigan State on the road in East Lansing, Mich. The win vaulted the Fighting Irish all the way up to the No. 11 spot in the poll.
